Switchgear Quotations Specialist (Remote - SF Bay Area)


Based in Northern California, with projects nationwide, we’re a fast-growing and top nationally ranked electrical switchgear and systems integrator specializing in complex commercial power distribution. Our team operates in a high-accountability, low-ego environment where professionals can grow, lead, and deliver mission-critical results.


We’re seeking a Switchgear Quotations Specialist (Remote - PST preferred) with deep expertise in medium-voltage gear and large commercial project estimation, ideally with equipment from ABB, Siemens, Eaton, or Square D.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed switchgear quotations for commercial projects, including medium-voltage equipment and custom configurations.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, and specifications to develop accurate and competitive bids.
  • Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, and internal teams to obtain pricing, validate lead times, and ensure technical compliance.
  • Manage bid documentation, RFQs, and scope reviews across multiple concurrent opportunities.
  • Support sales and project teams with value-engineering options, scope clarifications, and pre-sale technical guidance.


Qualifications

  • 3 - 8 years of experience quoting switchgear distribution projects (medium-voltage preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of commercial electrical systems, gear configuration, and vendor pricing processes.
  • Familiarity with quoting gear from OEMs like ABB, Siemens, Eaton, or Square D.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment.
  • Comfortable traveling to Fairfield, CA a few times per week or month to collaborate with office and warehouse staff and attend trainings.
