About The Business

Tata Electronics is a prominent global player in the electronics manufacturing industry, with fast‑emerging capabilities across Electronics Manufacturing Services, Semiconductor Assembly and Test, Semiconductor Foundry, and Design Services. Established in 2020 as a greenfield venture of the Tata Group, Tata Electronics is building a trusted, end‑to‑end electronics and semiconductor value chain serving global customers.


Technical Program Manager have hands-on PCBA DFM skills and manufacturing experiences in EMS services of various scales, such as PCBA and Main Logic Board experience in mobile applications. Must be familiar with the current industry design rules, standard BOM, equipment, and manufacturing operation. Understand the EMS business practice at a global scale is a plus. The TPM will manager customer projects on the technical aspects, collaborate with sales account managers, factory RnD, NPI, production, and supply chain teams to ensure successful execution. Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good interpersonal skills are essential.


Responsibilities: Will include the following, other duties may be assigned:

  1. Coordinate and manage all customer project related activities, including DFM discussions, NPI plans and key milestones.
  2. Manage and resolve customer issues through closely collaborating with Tata Electronics’ factories, RnD, NPI, sales, and supply chain teams.
  3. Coordinate customer visits to the factory
  4. Establish technical credibility, building trust and strong relationships with the customers to ensure quick problem solving above and beyond customer expectations.


Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related fields.
  2. Minimum of 8+ years of EMS manufacturing experience in assembly and test with in-depth DFM understanding and hands on work experience.
  3. Experience in working with customers and stakeholders to resolve technical issues to support the business success of the projects and programs.
  4. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential along with interpersonal communications skills. Must be a team player with good organizational, computer and project management skills.
  5. Be a quick learner, able to quickly adapt new and dynamic working protocols among end customers, tier 1 and tier 2 vendors.
  6. Experience with data center related manufacturing a plus.
