To thrive as an Engineer, you need a solid understanding of engineering principles, problem-solving abilities, and a relevant degree in your discipline. Familiarity with industry-standard software (such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, or SolidWorks) and certifications like Professional Engineer (PE) licensure are often required.
