A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MANUFACTURING PROGRAM MANAGER, SUBSEA SYSTEMS

In this position, you play an essential role in ensuring we are meeting client requirements and deadlines while maximizing the efficiency of our company's resources. The Manufacturing Program Manager, Subsea Systems Works as the liaison between functional groups such as, Operations, CNC, Design, and Engineering to support client's requirements for implementing solutions to complex problems. This position oversees specific projects, coordinating with essential personnel to ensure that projects adhere to the quality policy and customer requirements and timeline/schedule.

Using good judgment, you select methods and techniques that create solutions that relate to project management and take any concerns into account.

You are constantly in communication with the production team as well as leadership to ensure that any changes are made aware of promptly and that restrictions are reviewed. Keeping your team on track and staying organized brings you great satisfaction, which is why you are a perfect addition to our company!

Work Environment

This position requires time spent on the shop floor and exposure to shop elements including noise, moving parts, dust and fumes. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occassionally required to work in noisy and dust filled spaces, climb on and around large structures, and sit or stand for extended periods of time during peaks in projects.

Position Type & Expected Work Hours

This is a full-time salaried position, on occasional occurrences working beyond normal working hours.

Travel

Travel is rarely expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience

  1. Minimum of 2-5 years in related field or role
  2. Excellent communications skills

  4. Strong team building and personnel skills
  5. Ability to read, write, and speak English

Preferred Education & Experience

  1. Prior experience running multidisciplinary teams for DoD programs
  2. Knowledge of prepreg composite manufacturing
  3. Knowledge of manufacturing machines and tools
  4. Experience with systems design and systems integration
