Job Purpose

In partnership with Engineer Manager, Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisor and with the support of management staff, the employee will follow these job descriptions as it relates to the job title. The employee will own results for technical training of the team, defect handling system, execution of the 52-week plan from the COE, MRO costs for the process. This employee will actively participate in annual planning, weekly PDCA meetings, and daily level 2 meetings. This employee will mentor and develop the maintenance capability of teams by serving as a technical mentor and resource. Spends time on the floor capturing information on breakdowns, defects, and work order completion over the past 24 hours. Works with COE to continuously improve the routes and action plans by surrounding CBM and improve the content and standardization of Bill of Material (BOM). Works with the COE to continuously improve PM work instructions, task list, checklist, maintenance planning, scheduling and kitting, strategies.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Cover all facets of mechanical, electrical and preventative maintenance on various high-speed and packaging machinery.

Trouble shooting.

Prioritize PM and AM activities with the weekly schedule.

Can demonstrate a dedication to mentor and lead, grounded in core principles, using thoughtful inquiry and active listening to foster growth and teamwork.

Proven experience in maintenance role (3-5+ years) with demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.

Coaching and qualifying aspects of AM and PM activities with employees within the process

Collaborate with and support the process owner in coordinating and completing assigned responsibilities.

Actively participate in team goal setting/implementation to ensure that we are a low-cost, high-quality producer.

Ensure quality of our products and workplace by following all procedures and guidelines.

Proven experience in the operation of forklifts, scissor lifts, and JLG. Valid Certification a plus.

Proven experience utilizing / exercising LOTO to safely control hazardous energy. Lockout / Tagout (LOTO) certification a plus.

Ensure strict adherence to EHS safety regulations, including OSHA and Lock Out/Tag Out procedures per KHC policies.

Comply with all established GMP, HACCP guidelines, housekeeping responsibilities.

Flexibility to adjust schedule to work with employees from all shifts as required.

Works overtime as necessary.

Adhering to all company EHS policies and procedures to prevent injuries and incidents.

Actively participates in safety training, reports hazards, and supports the company's Injury and Illness Prevention Program.

Carries out additional responsibilities as needed to support team goals.
