We are looking for an experienced developer to join the Mobile Team. Our team creates the application that hundreds of thousands of people use every day to track nutrition, understand their health data, and build sustainable habits. We work with Flutter, along with the native iOS and Android stacks when the platform calls for it, to ship a high-quality application that is fast, reliable, and easy to use.

We are looking for someone who can work with us at our office in Revelstoke, British Columbia, where in-person we channel the mountain lifestyle to build a great mobile experience


What You'll Be Doing:

- Build, test, and ship mobile features in Flutter across both Android and iOS.
- Write clean, maintainable Dart code that fits into an established production codebase.
- Contribute to some server and backend code when needed to deliver complete product experiences.
- Collaborate with senior mobile developers, backend developers, Product, Design, and QA to turn product ideas into polished user experiences.
- Integrate with RESTful APIs and internal services, with attention to reliability, performance, and clear failure states.
- Debug issues across the mobile stack, including UI behaviour, app performance, platform differences, and production crashes.
- Contribute to code reviews by giving and receiving thoughtful feedback.
- Help improve our mobile development practices, including testing, release readiness, accessibility, and maintainability.
- Support app releases through testing, verification, and follow-up once features reach users.


What You Bring To The Table:

3+ years of professional software development experience in an professional environment
- A solid understanding of client-server communication, RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and data-driven UI.
- Care for mobile UI/UX details, performance, reliability, and accessibility.
- Familiarity with automated testing, debugging tools, CI/CD workflows, and app release processes.
- Ability to take ownership of features, ask good questions, and deliver reliable work in a collaborative environment.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.


Nice To Haves:

Experience building user-facing features in Flutter, native mobile, or another modern client application framework.
- Experience shipping software directly to end users
- Experience building and shipping production apps using Flutter and Dart.
- Experience with native Android development in Kotlin or Java.
- Experience with native iOS development in Swift or Objective-C.
- Familiarity with app store release workflows, analytics, crash reporting, or feature flagging.
- Background or strong interest in nutrition, fitness, or health tech.
