Job description

VIP Systems, Inc. is a premier South Florida-based low-voltage systems integrator specializing in luxury high-rise residential and commercial developments. We design, engineer, and install state-of-the-art infrastructure, including structured cabling, access control, CCTV, life safety, and smart-building automation networks for high-end properties.

Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, motivated Warehouse Helper to support our operations logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily organization, inventory management, and staging of high-value electronic equipment, low-voltage components, spools of fiber/copper cabling, and specialty technician tools. This hands-on position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong physical stamina who can keep pace with our active construction and installation schedules, ensuring our field technicians have the exact materials they need for daily high-rise deployments.

Core Responsibilities

Receiving & Material Handling

  • Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks, vendor shipments, and field vehicles.

  • Unbox, verify, and match incoming technical components and equipment against purchase orders and packing slips.

  • Report any material discrepancies, shipping damages, or inventory shortages immediately to the Warehouse Manager.

Staging & Field Support

  • Accurately pull, kit, and stage low-voltage materials (cables, hardware, racks, security devices) according to specific project pick-lists.

  • Safely wrap, palletize, and load materials onto box trucks or field vans to ensure secure transport to active job sites.

  • Help track, organize, and issue specialized tools, testing equipment, and safety gear to field personnel.

Inventory Management & Housekeeping

  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, safe, and hazard-free by sweeping, recycling packaging, and organizing material bins.

  • Place materials into their designated shelving or rack locations to maintain a highly organized storage floor.

  • Participate in routine physical inventory counts, asset tracking, and stock audits.

Work Schedule

  • Monday - Friday 8:00AM -5:00PM.

  • Job Type Full-Time.


Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Experience: Previous experience in a construction, electrical, low-voltage, or trade-specific warehouse environment is highly preferred.

  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift or maneuver heavy items (such as large spools of cable or hardware enclosures) weighing up to 65+ lbs regularly, Forklift Certification (Preferred but not required).

  • Technical Familiarity: Comfortable identifying or learning standard construction materials, hand tools, and electrical/electronic components.

  • Teamwork: Strong communication skills with a "can-do" attitude and the ability to follow safety guidelines and directions precisely.

  • Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly advantageous for communicating with our diverse field and logistics teams.

  • Reliability: Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and an excellent track record for punctuality and attendance.
