Title: Controls Engineer
Location: North Haven, CT
Summary:
Seeking a Controls Engineer with strong Rockwell Automation experience to support high-precision automated manufacturing lines for Class II/III medical devices. This role focuses on controls programming, system optimization, and validation in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize Allen-Bradley (Rockwell) PLC, Motion Control, and HMI systems
  • Integrate and troubleshoot Cognex/Keyence vision inspection systems
  • Support equipment validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) per FDA & ISO 13485 standards
  • Perform root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to improve uptime and performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Controls/Automation or related)
  • 5+ years of controls engineering experience (medical device/pharma preferred)
  • Strong experience with Rockwell PLCs, motion control, and HMI
  • Hands-on experience with vision systems (Cognex/Keyence)
  • Experience working in regulated environments and validation processes
