EligibilityNote: Toqualify for a student(Co-op/Internship) opportunity, students must be enrolled intheir academic studies at a post-secondary institution (university/college) and must be returning to school after completion of their work term with QuadReal. If you are a student registered in an official co-op program at your post-secondary institution and completion of a final work term is a mandatory component for you to graduate, you are eligible to apply with the understanding that you will leave QuadReal at the end of your work term or have the possibility to be considered for full-time opportunities.

Based in Vancouver, the Co-op/Intern, Portfolio Reporting, Real Estate Debt, will report to the Director, Portfolio Reporting, Real Estate Debt. The candidate willassistwith advancing portfolio analytics, datamanagementand reporting, as well as gain broad exposure to the investment process by working closely with multiple teams (Investment, FP&A, Valuations, Research and Accounting).

What You Will Experience:

  • Advance QuadReal's agenda for driving insight at the portfolio level by contributing to scenario modelling, cash flow forecasting,leverageand liquidity analysis

  • Build and manage complex financial models to analyze the portfolio in Excel, Anaplan, or other tools

  • Analyze portfolio exposures, return attribution, and market trends and present them in a concise way through written and verbal forms

  • Validate and reconcile data collected from different systems, andassistwith data process improvement projects

  • Work with multiple teams tomaintainand build upon proprietary databases and reporting dashboards foraccurateandtimelyreporting

  • Assistin the preparation of monthly,quarterlyand ad hoc management reports for senior management, Board ofDirectorsand BCI

  • Assistwith ad hoc research projects for benchmarking, peer analysis, risk analysis, and other relevant topics

What You Will Bring:

  • Currentlyenrolled in an academic program preferably in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics/Statistic or Economics.Working towards CFA is considered an asset.

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills; detail-oriented and proficient in building and handling complicated data sets.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;demonstratean ability to effectively communicateand present results that articulate key themes and messages.

  • Must have advanced knowledge of Excel (VBA a plus);additionalcomputer programming skills and Power BI knowledge is considered a plus.

  • Previousexperience working within a real estate company, real estate brokerage or advisory firm, appraisal firm, or real estate lender is desirable. A strong interest in developing a career within real estate is essential.

  • An intellectual curiosity for AI and emerging technologies, with a willingness to apply and experiment with these tools to drive efficiency across teams.

The expected hourly range for this role is $23 to $25.
