Job description

Relevant du chef de division - génie au Service de l’ingénierie, tu joueras un rôle clé en modélisation hydraulique. Par tes analyses et recommandations, tu contribueras à la planification, à l’optimisation et à la pérennité des infrastructures d’eau potable, d’eaux usées et pluviales. Tu devras notamment :

  • Développer, maintenir et assurer la fiabilité des modèles hydrauliques des réseaux d’eau potable, d’égouts sanitaires et pluviaux;
  • Analyser le comportement hydraulique des réseaux, identifier les enjeux de capacité, de performance et de conformité, puis formuler les recommandations appropriées;
  • Simuler des scénarios de développement, de densification et d’adaptation aux changements climatiques afin d’orienter la planification et les décisions d’investissement;
  • Contribuer à la planification des investissements en infrastructures à partir d’analyses de capacité;
  • Soutenir les projets municipaux par des analyses hydrauliques et des recommandations techniques;
  • Participer à l’élaboration et à la mise à jour des plans directeurs des réseaux municipaux;
  • Collaborer avec les équipes internes, les consultants, les fournisseurs et les entrepreneurs;
  • Préparer des rapports techniques, des notes de calcul et des recommandations;
  • Participer aux démarches réglementaires et environnementales applicables;
  • Rédiger des documents d’appels d’offres et participer à l’analyse des soumissions;
  • Assurer le suivi des projets, des budgets, des échéanciers et voir à la qualité des livrables;
  • Effectuer une veille technologique et réglementaire en matière de modélisation hydraulique.

  • Détenir un baccalauréat en génie civil ou dans toute autre discipline jugée pertinente;
  • Être membre en règle de l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec;
  • Détenir une attestation de formation en santé et sécurité au travail sur les chantiers de construction (ASP);
  • Détenir un permis de conduire valide de classe 5;
  • Maîtriser les outils de modélisation hydraulique (EPANET, InfoWorks, SWMM ou équivalents);
  • Te distinguer par ton autonomie, ta créativité, ta rigueur et ton sens de l’organisation;
  • Savoir gérer les paradoxes, la complexité et maîtriser la résolution de problèmes;
  • Savoir informer et vulgariser de même que maîtriser le français tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit;
  • Démontrer un esprit de collaboration ainsi qu’un bon sens éthique et politique.
