Job description

  • Primary focus is mechanical design of manufacturing tooling, jigs, fixtures, and gauges.
  • SolidWorks is the preferred CAD software; Creo is a plus.
  • Looking for a Mechanical Engineer (Associate degree minimum, Bachelor's preferred). High school diploma alone is not acceptable.
  • Manufacturing experience is mandatory. Candidates should understand machining, fabrication, DFM, and work directly with machine shops.
  • 3–4 years of strong relevant experience is acceptable if the candidate has solid hands-on manufacturing knowledge.
  • Experience with jigs, fixtures, tooling, gauges, and manufacturing aids is highly preferred.
  • Medical device experience is preferred but not mandatory; candidates from other manufacturing industries are welcome.
  • Role involves 50% modifying existing fixtures and 50% designing new tooling.
  • Candidate should be able to own the complete design process from concept to manufacturing and testing.
  • Excellent communication skills are required to work with engineers, designers, and machine shops.
  • 100% onsite in Draper, UT. Local candidates are preferred, but relocation candidates will be considered if they are exceptionally strong.
  • The manager first reviews education, stable work history, relevant manufacturing experience, and company background before selecting candidates for interviews
