Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a Master-Level Diesel Engine Mechanic with advanced engine diagnostic ability and extensive experience in large, heavy-duty diesel platforms. This is not an entry-level or mid-level role โ€” we are looking for a technician who can diagnose complex failures, perform complete engine rebuilds, and serve as a lead-level contributor in our shop. Enjoy building engines without the strain of traditional mechanic workโ€”no crawling under trucks or working in tight spaces. Most tasks are performed standing in an organized shop environment.

Responsibilities

-Advanced engine diagnostics on heavy-duty diesel engines

-Out-of-frame engine overhauls

-Electrical and ECM diagnosticsFuel system troubleshooting (high-pressure common rail systems)

-Engine failure analysis

-Mentoring junior technicians

-Quality control and final inspection approvals

Qualifications

-7+ years of heavy-duty diesel engine experience

-Proven mastery of major platforms including Cummins, Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel etc

-Strong understanding of modern diesel technology

-Ability to independently complete full engine rebuilds

-Advanced computer diagnostic proficiency

-ASE Master Certification (preferred)

-CDL (preferred but not required)
