Job Description Job Description Position Summary The Manufacturing Design & BOM Coordinator will support engineering and production by creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs), shop drawings, assembly documentation, and configurable product structures for manufacturing operations. The role will work closely with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and Sales to improve standardization, manufacturing efficiency, and product documentation accuracy. Key Responsibilities ยท Create, maintain, and revise Bills of Materials (BOMs) for manufacturing ยท Develop and update shop drawings and assembly drawings for electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic/air, and mechanical systems ยท Assist with engineering change management and revision control ยท Support product standardization and configurable product development ยท Assist with product design improvements and manufacturing efficiency initiatives ยท Coordinate with Purchasing and Production to ensure BOM accuracy and completeness ยท Support ERP system structure and item setup within NetSuite ยท Assist with future CPQ and configurable manufacturing initiatives ยท Maintain organized engineering documentation and drawing records ยท Provide production floor support as needed Qualifications ยท Experience in manufacturing, drafting, CAD design, or production support environment preferred ยท Strong attention to detail and organizational skills ยท Ability to read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical drawings ยท Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software preferred ยท ERP or BOM management experience preferred ยท Manufacturing ERP experience is a plus ยท Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment ยท Strong communication and teamwork skills ยท Practical manufacturing mindset with willingness to learn and grow Preferred Experience ยท Custom manufacturing or equipment manufacturing ยท Truck equipment, industrial equipment, marine, fabrication, or mechanical systems industries ยท BOM development and revision control ยท Production assembly documentation ยท NetSuite or ERP implementation support ยท Configurable manufacturing or product standardization Company Description For over 75 years, Engine & Accessory, Inc.
