About the Role:
MAC Equipment Inc is looking for a skilled Small Engine Technician to join their team in Chapel Hill, TN! This is a great opportunity to turn your passion for engines and mechanical work into a rewarding career with a company that values hands-on expertise and quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain small engines on outdoor power equipment such as mowers, chainsaws, trimmers, and generators
  • Perform routine tune-ups, oil changes, and preventative maintenance services
  • Inspect and test equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues
  • Order and replace defective parts, components, and assemblies
  • Communicate repair status and recommendations clearly to customers
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the shop
  • Document service records and completed repair orders accurately
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in small engine repair or a related mechanical field preferred
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing 2-cycle and 4-cycle engines
  • Familiarity with brands such as Exmark, Hustler, Scag, Kawasaki, Briggs & Stratton, or Kohler is a plus
