Our SEO Manager is responsible for owning our organic search strategy, ensuring our brands are the first choice for homeowners in the communities we serve. This role is ideal for someone who is data-driven, understands the technical nuances of local search, and wants to be part of a collaborative and supportive marketing team. You will be responsible for increasing organic visibility and driving high-intent traffic to generate leads for our HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and specialty service lines.


Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a scalable SEO roadmap aligned to business goals across multiple brands and regions
  • Run ongoing site audits, diagnose technical issues, and collaborate with developers to improve crawlability, speed, and indexation
  • Build and manage local SEO programs including Google Business Profile optimization, citations, and local landing pages for multiple locations
  • Strengthen our digital footprint across emerging platforms like AI Search Optimization (SGE/GEO)
  • Improve site structure and content to match keyword targets and user intent while ensuring pages are technically sound and conversion-oriented
  • Conduct ongoing keyword research, competitive analysis, and SERP monitoring. Report on rankings, organic traffic, and conversion impact
  • Improve domain authority by discovering opportunities and implementing white-hat link building strategies
  • Own the SEO reporting dashboard using tools like Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs, and BrightLocal
  • Create SEO launch plans for newly acquired brands to ensure smooth transitions and strong organic performance
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • 3–5+ years of SEO experience, preferably in-house or at an agency managing multi-location service businesses
  • Deep understanding of Google algorithm updates, ranking factors, and local SEO best practices
  • Hands-on experience with technical SEO audits and tools (Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, etc.)
  • Comfortable using platforms such as Google Analytics 4, WordPress, and Unbounce; ServiceTitan experience is a plus
  • Strong ability to translate data into actionable marketing strategies
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position (seated) for prolonged periods
  • Frequent use of computer, keyboard, and telephone headset
