Job Overview:
 
Must Haves:
  • Experience running Contact machine and hand placing through hole parts on CCAs
  • Familiar with through-hole insertion solutions (JUKI, Amistar, Contact)
  • Lead trimming.
  • Manual dexterity for small‑component work.
  • Ability to verify part orientation and part identification.
  • CCA assembly experience.
Nice to Haves:
  • Prior work in avionics or defense manufacturing.
Deal Breakers:
  • Has not run a contact machine – could also be referred to or described as a Through-Hole Insertion Machine (Manual/Semi-Auto). 
  • It uses a light to show where to place the part and clinches the leads.
  • Inability to perform fine‑detail manual work.
  • Doesn’t know what through hole parts are.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
  • 2‑year post‑secondary/Associate degree with 1–2 years of related experience.
