International Motors Huntsville Powertrain Plant is seeking Assemblers to join our growing team!

Role Description:
Fabricate and assemble engines, transmissions and aftertreatment components for diesel commercial trucks.
Emphasis on quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Facility:
Cutting-edge automated facility with climate control.
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday
1st Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
2nd Shift: 7:30 PM - 6:00 AM

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Assemble Engine and Powertrain Components: Obtain incoming components and assemble products according to process instructions, performing all necessary gauge verifications.
  • Quality and Productivity: Perform duties to maintain quality and productivity standards.
  • Support Team Objectives: Replace or assist others as needed to meet uptime objectives.
  • Team Participation: Actively participate in the work group and business team.
  • Continuous Improvement: Strive for continual improvement and focus on process optimization.
  • Guidance and Training: Instruct, assist, and direct others as required.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with process instructions, PFMEA, and Control Plans; notify group leader of any deviations.
  • Accountability: Accept accountability for achieving goals and planning strategies.

  • Physical Requirements (Ability to do the following up to 10 hours per shift):
