EXPERIENCED ENERGY SALES CONSULTANT (Solar, Batteries & Generators)


Seeking Energy Ambassadors with a passion for renewable energy and helping others!

  • High commissions plus base salary.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Energy Consultant, your primary function is to consult, educate and advise customers and help design energy solutions that best serve the customer. This is a very rewarding position in an exciting industry with unlimited opportunity for professional growth and success. You get to support the environment, help people, and make a great living!


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Present and sell energy solutions to new and existing customers.
  • Conduct site visits and collect field data directly, from customers or from field personnel, to properly estimate the job (includes documenting site logistics and requirements, taking measurements, assess shading and energy requirements, evaluating electrical data, etc.)
  • Work with team to prepare designs, proposals and contracts and present them to prospects clearly and transparently (in person, virtually and/or via DocuSign).
  • Maintain and update CRM and sales systems, with customer communications, status, and docs, track and monitor your work, and report to the management team.
  • Ability to multitask and manage a large portfolio of leads at a time. Answer inquiries and questions timely and professionally.
  • Stay up to date with the latest sales, industry and product trends and best practices.


SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven successful track record in solar sales, lead generation, sales or service support.
  • Service oriented with a proactive and positive attitude and committed to providing the best customer experience
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic, integrity, and great follow through skills.
  • Good technical skills with working knowledge of standard office systems, including GSuite, CRM, system design and proposal software, DocuSign, etc.
  • Ability to communicate, collaborate, and partner cross-functionally to address customer needs.
  • Passionate about energy, sustainability, backup power options, and renewable energy!

  • Competitive salary plus commission, dependent on experience. Includes generous starting draw salary.
