D365 Business Central Contractor
Our Calgary-based client, a growing power and energy storage company, is seeking a D365 Business Central Contractor for a 5 to 6-month contract to support a finance-focused ERP transformation initiative. Working closely with the Controller, this role will focus on cleaning up and optimizing the company’s Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment following its initial implementation. This role offers a hybrid work schedule, with in-office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

Your success will be defined by your ability to:
  • Assessing and optimizing the current Business Central environment
  • Improving consolidation and financial reporting capabilities
  • Reviewing and restructuring the Chart of Accounts
  • Eliminating manual workarounds and improving system processes
  • Establishing stronger controls, governance, and scalable workflows
Your strengths include:
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including system administration, configuration, and support
  • Proven experience assisting with post-implementation optimization, system cleanup, and process improvement initiatives within Business Central
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, and the broader Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem
  • Experience with data migration, system testing, and ERP transformation projects
