Through field-based advising,Residential Energy Auditorprovide individualized and ongoing assistance to property owners with relevant programs, energy efficiency benefits, assessment report, upgrade project support, and customer service. Energy Advisors help maximize the value of energy program marketing activities by referring customers to all relevant programs, participating in community marketing, education, and outreach events as an expert resource, encouraging customersto pursue every energy upgrade that makes sense for them, tracking the status of every customer, and identifying opportunities for customers to make deeper energy savings over time.

Detailed data tracking conducted bytheResidential Energy Auditoralso helps to identify the most effective marketing tactics and offers real-time insight into a wide variety of parameters that can be used to maximize program performance.

  • Act as local, customer-facing program & company representative to customers to encourage participation in the program and overcome barriers to energy savings.

  • Learn to conduct home energy assessments & evaluations.

  • Provide individualized and ongoing assistance to property owners and contractors to convert projects according to contract compliance.

  • Work both independently and in a team to ensurea qualityeducation & installation experience.

  • Record and report necessary data by electronic or manual methods to adhere to program requirements.

  • Troubleshoot technical problems that you may encounter during the installation of energy efficiency measures.

  • Learn, understand and comply with all technical aspects of energy efficiency programs.

  • Daily travel throughout a defined service territory.

  • Installor repairenergy savingtoiletsand shower heads during the home visit.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma/ GEDand work experience in related field.

  • Knowledge ofWeatherization,HVAC orBuilding Construction preferred.

  • BPI, OSHA & EPA Lead certifications preferred, yet not required; or the ability to obtain/pass skills test once hired, all training will be provided & certifications funded for the right candidate.

  • Ability to explain technical information in an easy-to-understand way

  • Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Consistently friendly, positive, and respectful communications, even under pressure

  • Ability to develop and maintain positive interpersonal relationships

  • Excellent organization, record-keeping, and time management skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Office preferred, or possess the ability to learn (Outlook, Excel, OneDrive)

  • Proficiency with mobile applications, specifically IOS andSalesforce.

  • Ability to passlevel 1 and level 2backgroundchecks anddrugscreening.

  • Possess a valid driver's license with reliable transportation & no history of major driving infractions.
