About the Job
The Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily dispatch operations for both Commercial/Residential line of business. This fully remote role begins at 8:00 AM EST and leads a team of approximately 15 employees, ensuring efficient communication to support service delivery and customer satisfaction.

This position provides direct supervision, coaching, and performance management for dispatch staff, while optimizing workflows, maintaining service level expectations, and addressing operational challenges in real time. The Dispatch Supervisor partners closely with field teams and leadership to ensure timely job completion, resource alignment, and adherence to company standards.

  
What You'll be doing 
 

  • Oversees daily activities of the dispatch department, ensuring productivity and quality goals are met.
  • Coordinates resolution of service orders and customer service issues.
  • Manages live dispatch as well as GPS and MAS data input.
  • Supervises processing of all paperwork, including billing backlog.
  • Communicates and enforces company policies and procedures and develops and implements safety briefings.
  • Coordinates container tracking, container placement, and driver safety.
  • Compiles and analyzes maintenance reports.
  • Coordinates schedules and monitors performance of staff, and arranges for training as needed.
  • Oversees personnel needs of the department including coaching, training, and evaluating employee performance. Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.


What does it take to be a Dispatch Supervisor WM?
A. Required Qualifications 
 

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. (accredited)
  • 4 years of previous experience (in addition to education requirements)
  • Previous dispatching and driver management and general supervisory experience

Pay: The expected base pay range for this remote position is $59,500 - $72,500. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
