The Sr. Endpoint  Engineer (Executive Technology) is responsible for the strategy, engineering, governance and continuous improvement of the Company’s enterprise endpoint environment while serving as the senior technical resource for executive technology support. This role leads the planning, design, implementation, administration, automation and lifecycle management of Windows, macOS, mobile devices and endpoint management platforms to deliver a secure, standardized and highly reliable end-user computing environment.

The Sr. Endpoint Engineer develops enterprise standards, drives process improvements, automates device management, and partners with Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Service Desk, Collaboration, and business stakeholders to advance the organization’s endpoint strategy. The Engineer proactively identifies opportunities to improve operational efficiency, enhance security compliance, streamline endpoint deployments and elevate the employee technology experience.

The Sr. Endpoint Engineer is also responsible for delivering high-touch, white-glove technology support  for executive leadership, including being the primary contact for board meetings, executive offsites and other high-profile business events, ensuring seamless technology experiences.

The ideal candidate combines strong executive presence with deep hands-on expertise in endpoint management, Windows and Mac support, Microsoft 365, device provisioning, patching, application deployment, endpoint security, and automation.

This role follows a hybrid schedule and requires regular, in-person work at our Boston, MA office. Our hybrid model is M/T/W in office and TH/F are optional work-from-home. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of one of these locations. Fully remote work is not available for this role.


Enterprise Endpoint Engineering

  • Owns the enterprise endpoint engineering strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management for Windows, macOS, mobile devices, and end-user computing technologies.
  • Oversees the planning, design, implementation, administration, automation, and continuous improvement of the organization's endpoint environment to ensure scalability, consistency, security, and operational excellence.
  • Leads enterprise endpoint management through Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Configuration Manager (MECM), Autopilot, Addigy, and related technologies, including policy administration, device provisioning, compliance, and lifecycle governance.
  • Develops and maintains standardized endpoint images, provisioning processes, deployment methodologies, and automation strategies that streamline device deployment while ensuring consistency, security, and user experience across the enterprise.
  • Designs, implements, and administers endpoint configuration standards, Group Policy, security baselines, compliance controls, software deployment, patch management, encryption, and endpoint hardening initiatives.
  • Oversees enterprise patch management and endpoint maintenance strategies to ensure timely deployment of operating system, firmware, and application updates while minimizing business disruption.
  • Develops PowerShell automation and scripting solutions to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, standardize administration, and support enterprise IT initiatives.
  • Establishes enterprise endpoint standards, technical documentation, operational procedures, governance, and best practices that improve service quality and operational maturity.
  • Partners with Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Networking, and IT leadership to develop long-term endpoint strategies aligned with business objectives and security requirements.
  • Proactively evaluates emerging endpoint technologies and recommends improvements that enhance employee productivity, endpoint security, operational efficiency, and the overall digital workplace experience.
  • Performs root cause analysis on recurring endpoint issues and implements long-term technical solutions to improve reliability and reduce support demand.
  • Leads endpoint-related projects including office expansions, technology refreshes, migrations, hardware lifecycle initiatives, and enterprise technology deployments.

Executive Technology Support

  • Serves as the senior technology partner for executive leadership by providing white-glove technology support for the Executive Leadership Team. 
  • Travels with executive leadership, as needed, to support offsite meetings, conferences, board meetings, Investor Day, leadership retreats, and other strategic business events to ensure seamless technology operations.
  • Oversees executive conference room technologies, collaboration platforms, audio/visual systems, hybrid meeting capabilities, and executive presentation support.

Operational Leadership

  • Proactively identifies opportunities to improve endpoint operations through automation, process redesign, standardization, and technology modernization initiatives.
  • Establishes service standards, KPIs, operational metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives for endpoint engineering services.
  • Provides technical leadership to Desktop Support personnel while serving as the senior escalation resource for complex technical issues.
  • Collaborates with IT leadership on endpoint strategy, budgeting, technology roadmaps, vendor evaluations, and enterprise technology planning.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field; equivalent work experience may be considered
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in endpoint engineering and management, desktop engineering, IT operations, or enterprise end-user technology support
  • 3+ years of experience providing direct executive-level (C-suite) white-glove technology support in a corporate environment
  • Strong experience managing Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android endpoints, including provisioning, imaging, software deployment, patch management, lifecycle management, and endpoint automation.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and administering enterprise endpoint management solutions, including Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Configuration Manager (MECM), Autopilot, Addigy, or comparable technologies.
  • Experience developing endpoint standards, policies, governance, and operational processes that improve consistency, security, scalability, and the employee technology experience.
  • Strong understanding of endpoint security principles, including device compliance, encryption, endpoint hardening, vulnerability remediation, and identity/access management.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 technologies and modern collaboration platforms in an enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrated experience using PowerShell or similar scripting technologies to automate endpoint administration and improve operational efficiency.
  • Proven ability to lead complex technical troubleshooting, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term technical and process improvements.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership, board meetings, and high-profile business events, including conference room and audio/visual technologies, is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working within ITSM frameworks, creating technical documentation, and partnering cross-functionally with Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Service Desk, and business stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, ITIL Foundation, or comparable certifications are preferred.
  • Experience supporting distributed, multi-site, retail, hospitality, restaurant, or franchise-based environments is preferred.Extremely detail-oriented, efficient, and organized with an exceptional ability to establish priorities and objectives

The salary for MA-based employees hired into this role will be aligned with the range below. This is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with a candidate’s professional experience, qualifications and internal equity.

Annual Base Salary Range: $95,000-$110,000
