Job description

AAA Club Alliance is currently seeking a full-time Endpoint Operations Admin III to join our team at one of the following locations: Columbus, OH; Cincinnati, OH; or Wilmington, DE.
This position follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring on-site presence three days per week, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
The primary duties of the role are to:
  • Design modern desktop and mobile device management (MDM) solutions using Windows 11, MECM/SCCM, and Intune.
  • Design, develop and implement modern lifecycle practices for endpoints.
  • Perform Software / Hardware testing, modifications, and system integrity checks between the hardware, security applications, and operating systems and drivers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve endpoint issues, problems and errors, by examining system performance, RAM usage, and incompatibilities.
  • Research new and up and coming technologies.
  • Gather business, communication and functional objectives by leading client working sessions, reviewing the competitive landscape, and creative brainstorming sessions with the project team.
  • Design how technologies will fit into the ACA environment.
  • Partner with architects from other platforms such as network, server, security, telephony etc.
  • Develop the high-level implementation plans for desktop platform.
  • Evaluate new and existing technologies as part of the architecture team, understanding how they will impact the computing environment at ACA.
  • Remain abreast of Microsoft best practices.
  • Provide overall guidance with modern desktop platform.
  • Build Group Policy desktop management policies; partner with Server Engineering for overall group policy management. Assist with transfer and management of GPO into Configuration Policies in Intune.
  • Operate and maintain Microsoft SCCM and related environments including distribution points, cloud mgmt. gateway, Intune, Auto pilot including analysis, administration and support.
  • Serve as the Tier 3 point of escalation for Tier 1 and 2.
  • Ensure security compliance is maintained.
  • Install, configure, and prepare operating systems for deployment with SCCM and Intune.
  • Responsible for designs; creates PowerShell scripts and packages to handle upgrades.
  • Proactive security patch management and vulnerability remediation.
  • Participate in tiger team to manage enterprise vulnerabilities.
  • Manage issues related to malware prevention, protection, and recovery.
  • Ability to serve as a Tier 3 technical escalation and lead enterprise endpoint management initiatives.
  • Plan, develop, build, deploy and track success of application packages.
  • Build and deploy using PowerShell.
  • Conduct zero touch deployments.
  • Utilize Intune management for various tasks.
  • Research and resolve vulnerabilities related to the end user computing environment
  • Manage distribution points including Cloud Management Gateway.
  • Monitor and report on compliance reports, Windows updates, PCI, 3rd party updates
  • Research and improve endpoint images based on business requirements.
  • Perform post-resolution follow-ups on tickets to ensure resolutions remain successful
  • Adhere to Change Management Process.
  • Provide reporting and metrics documentation.
  • Create and update knowledgebase documentation.
  • Acknowledges and abides by all Information Security Policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in IT or related field. A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience administering Endpoint Management systems required.
  • Experience with desktop architecture.
  • Expert-level experience with Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, Windows 11, and Autopilot.
  • Experience designing and managing modern desktop and mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of endpoint lifecycle management, deployment, configuration, and support.
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
  • Experience supporting SCCM/MECM environments, including distribution points and Cloud Management Gateway.
  • Must have SCCM, Intune, Entra, PowerShell, and AVD experience.
