Position: Registered Nurse - Operating Room, Part-Time Weekend Shifts with Sign-On Bonus Available

Schedule: Every Saturday and Sunday, consisting of two 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM.

Location: Our organization offers advanced outpatient and inpatient surgical services, including robotic surgery and an endovascular hybrid suite.

• Comprehensive Endoscopy Services
• High-Volume Endovascular Surgery, including TCAR and EVAR
• Three Intuitive Da Vinci Robots for Surgical Procedures
• Mako Robotic Surgery for Total Knee Replacements
• State-of-the-Art Laparoscopic Surgery with Stryker SPY-PHU 4K Fluorescence Capability
• Advanced Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery Utilizing Stealth Technology
• Robotic Urology Surgery
• High-Volume Orthopedic Procedures, including Total Joint Replacements
• Operating Room Extern Program – Periop 101
• ICU-Level PACU Services

The staff nurse is responsible for delivering nursing care to patients across all age groups, employing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. This role operates within the organization's policies and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. Key duties include:

• Conducting patient assessments, gathering data on physical, psychosocial, and health history.
• Evaluating the developmental stage of patients during assessments, treatments, and education for patients and families.
• Organizing patient information to create a comprehensive care plan, identifying additional information needed, and making informed care decisions based on patient needs.
• Implementing the care plan to achieve desired patient outcomes.
• Delivering patient care tailored to the specific setting, needs, and care plan, ensuring appropriateness based on the severity of conditions.
• Supervising the activities of ancillary and support staff.
• Identifying educational opportunities and providing necessary resources to meet patients' educational goals.
• Communicating any issues or concerns to the Charge Nurse, Clinical Manager, or physician as needed.
• Documenting patient care and concerns accurately in patient records.

• Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum Experience: New graduates of nursing programs are welcome to apply.
• Licensure/Certification: Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Georgia or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification is mandatory.
• Additional Qualifications: Advanced certification in a specialty area is preferred. A Bachelor’s degree is also preferred, along with nursing experience in a hospital setting.
