Class A CDL Driver (Hazmat Endorsement)
Location: Kyle, TX (Onsite)
Pay: $34.00 - $35.00/hour + Overtime
Job Type: Full-Time (30+ hours/week)
Work Schedule
  • Option 1: Sunday - Wednesday | 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
  • Option 2: Wednesday - Saturday | 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Job Overview
We are hiring experienced Class A CDL Drivers with Hazmat Endorsement for overnight hazardous material transportation. This role requires strong DOT compliance knowledge, night driving experience, and the ability to safely operate multiple trailer types.
This is a high-priority logistics role supporting critical transportation operations with a focus on safety, compliance, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
  • Safely transport hazardous materials (HAZMAT) during overnight routes
  • Operate Class A commercial vehicles (flatbeds, refrigerated trailers/reefers, dry vans)
  • Ensure compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and Texas state regulations
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections (DVIR, safety checks)
  • Maintain accurate ELD logs, HOS records, and compliance documentation
  • Follow all transportation safety protocols and company policies
  • Communicate with dispatch, logistics, and operations teams regarding routes, delays, and issues
  • Adhere to hazmat handling, loading, and securement procedures

Required Qualifications
  • Valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver's License) - REQUIRED
  • Active Hazmat (HME) Endorsement - REQUIRED
  • Minimum 2+ years of hazmat driving experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of overnight / night driving experience
  • Experience operating flatbeds, reefers, and dry vans
  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, FMCSA compliance, and safety standards
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and strong safety history
  • Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and DOT physical

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with multi-stop routes and time-sensitive deliveries
  • Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD systems)
  • Strong understanding of hazardous material classification and handling
