Endo Reprocessing Tech


Welcome to Gateway Surgery Center:

Gateway Surgery Center is an outpatient surgical center specifically designed to provide endoscopic procedures in a comfortable and professional environment.  This facility provides patients expanded services and convenient scheduling. This is a fast paced environment that is driven to reach the highest quality and satisfaction outcomes. 


Endo Tech

Assists endoscopy team during endoscopy procedures.  Arranges and inventories sterile set-up for operation, and passes items as needed to the endoscopy team.  Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the endoscopy room. The Endo Tech is responsible for the provision of care to meet identified patient outcomes and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the Registered Nurse. Provides a centralized distribution and control of supplies and equipment to the facility.  In charge of shipping and receiving, stores prepared articles and supplies in designated areas.  Maintains and tracks inventory according to facility procedures.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Current CPR.
  • two years experience in endoscopy preferred
  • Demonstrates ability to work as a team member and to communicate directly and professionally. 
  • Is flexible, reliable, productive, patient-oriented, and self-motivated. 
  • Portrays the facility in a positive light to others. 
  • Maintains professional conduct and appearance.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. 
  • Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to patients, physicians, and other employees.
