Ready to grow with a company that’s growing?

Imagine stepping onto a production floor where your voice is heard and your development matters. At Intek Plastics—now part of the Intek Plastics Group—we’re investing in people with enhanced perks and clear paths to advancement. We’re hiring a full-time Thermoplastic Molding Line Operator for 1st shift (Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.).

Is this you?

  • Are you comfortable asking questions to keep quality and safety on track?
  • Can you read work instructions, complete simple forms, and do basic math?
  • Do you enjoy collaborating with teammates and supporting new hires?
What you’ll handle

From clock-in to clock-out, you’ll help keep production moving and quality high:

  • Touch base with the shift leader or mold tech to verify daily tasks
  • Connect with the previous operator to understand current job status
  • Review job paperwork and verify all details before starting
  • Document activity in shift reports, route sheets, and related records
  • Perform secondary operations following written instructions
  • Inspect molded parts and assemblies to confirm they meet specs
  • Keep your station stocked with needed supplies
  • Report issues with parts, instructions, packaging, or equipment right away
  • Maintain an orderly, safe work area and follow the Quality Management System
  • Assist in training new operators; complete end-of-shift cleanup and paperwork
  • Take on additional tasks as assigned by leadership
What helps you succeed Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 1–3 months of manufacturing or similar experience preferred; we train
  • We will consider equivalent education/experience combinations

  • Write clearly enough for basic reports and documentation
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors
  • Comfort with basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, percentages
  • Ability to follow directions and troubleshoot routine production problems
Perks you can count on
  • Competitive pay
  • On-the-job training
  • Room to grow
  • Supportive, team-first culture
