About This Role
We are seeking an experienced Encompass Business Analyst with deep expertise to serve as the primary liaison between business functions such as Sales, Warehouse/Distribution, Procurement, Finance, HR, and IT to identify, prioritize, and deliver technology-enabled business value, focusing on revenue growth, cost reduction, process efficiency, and predictive decision-making.
Rate: $85-$95 W2/hr.
Duration: 6 months
What You Will Work On
  • Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for automation, analytics, and process optimization, with a strong emphasis on leveraging ENCOMPASS capabilities. (RAS, WMS, EDI, Retail Insights).
  • Evaluate and prioritize initiatives based on ROI, operational impact, and system enablement within ENCOMPASS.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on how to best utilize and extend ENCOMPASS functionality across the enterprise
  • Deep understanding of distribution business (ideally in the Beverage Industry and/or Wholesale) processes is essential
  • Lead process mapping and re-engineering across core operational workflows.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on ROI, operational impact, and strategic alignment.
  • Act as product owner or functional lead on key IT and business transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure solutions are adopted and deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Bridge gaps between IT capabilities (Encompass, Power BI, AI tools) and business needs.

What You Will Bring
  • Strong hands-on ENCOMPASS experience
  • Background in distribution or wholesale operations (beverage industry preferred)
  • Experience across Sales, Warehouse/Distribution, Procurement, or Finance processes
  • Familiarity with integrations (APIs, EDI) and cross-system data flows
  • Analytics: Power BI (data modeling, dashboard design, KPI frameworks)
  • Data & Analytics Experience including (Master Data Management, Analytics Reporting Structure, Power BI)
  • Understanding of data structures, data quality, and data flows
  • Ability to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting requirements
  • Experience working with data transformation and reporting automation
  • Familiarity with predictive analytics concepts (demand forecasting, inventory optimization)
  • Emerging Technology Awareness
  • AI/automation use cases (copilots, workflow automation, chatbots)
  • Cloud-based platforms and SaaS integrations
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity and data governance implications
  • Intacct, Paycom, WCS/Warehouse automation systems
  • Data modeling, KPI development, and reporting automation
  • Exposure to AI/automation tools and cloud platforms
