Job description

Sparks Group is hiring for an EMV Production Manager to Lead daily EMV manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets. Drive performance through Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and cross-functional leadership while developing a high-performing operations team.


Responsibilities 

  • Direct daily EMV production operations to meet output, quality, inventory accuracy, and shipping schedules.

  • Monitor, report, and optimize departmental KPIs, including safety, scrap reduction, throughput, efficiency, and cost control.

  • Manage departmental budget, drive cost-reduction initiatives, and provide monthly P&L insights to leadership.

  • Implement Lean manufacturing, standard work, and process optimization initiatives to continuously improve flow.

  • Conduct root-cause analysis and corrective actions to eliminate scrap and rework.

  • Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, security, and EMV regulatory requirements.

  • Lead, coach, and cross-train supervisors and production staff to build workforce skills and operational flexibility.

  • Partner with Maintenance to maximize equipment uptime, availability, and rapid issue resolution.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve operational issues and support new product introductions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.

  • 5+ years of manufacturing/operations leadership experience.

  • Lean manufacturing, GMP principles, operational controls, logistics, quality systems, and statistical reasoning/analytics.

  • Team development, problem-solving, strong communication, organization, high integrity, and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Industry experience in plastic card, EMV, or secure card manufacturing preferred.

  • Must pass a comprehensive background and drug screen

  • Work Environment: Light industrial setting with shop noise exposure.

  • Physical Demands: Regular sitting, standing, reaching, and moving across facilities; occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.

  • Travel: Required, including international travel.

Pay Range: Hourly $125,000.00 to $145,000.00
