Job description

Job Title: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Location: Las Vegas, NV Reports To: On-Duty Supervisor About Guardian Elite Medical Services At Guardian Elite, we live by our motto, "People Taking Care of People." As a trusted ambulance and medical services provider in Nevada, we're dedicated to delivering the highest level of care to our patients and supporting our team in their mission to make a difference every day. Position Overview As an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) at Guardian Elite Medical Services, you will be responsible for providing compassionate, efficient, and high-quality pre-hospital care to patients in emergency and non-emergency settings. You will operate under established medical protocols and work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to ensure the safety and well-being of patients during transport and care

Key Responsibilities Respond promptly to emergency and non-emergency calls as directed by dispatch. Assess, treat, and stabilize patients in accordance with state and company protocols. Safely transport patients to medical facilities while providing ongoing care.

Maintain and operate ambulances and medical equipment in a safe, clean, and functional condition. Complete accurate and thorough patient care reports and documentation. Communicate effectively with patients, families, bystanders, and healthcare professionals.

Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations as well as company policies and procedures. Participate in training, continuing education, and company meetings as required. Support special event medical coverage and other company initiatives as needed.

Qualifications Current EMT certification (National Registry, Nevada State Certification, Southern Nevada Health District, or Compact State License). Current CPR certification (American Heart Association or equivalent). Valid Nevada driver's license with a clean driving record.

Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving patients and equipment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to patient-centered care. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and as part of a team.
