Emergency Medical Technician

Location: Commerce, CA, 90040

Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour

Job Description

We are currently hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our growing team. As an EMT at Citywide Ambulance, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality patient care during medical transports, maintaining professional conduct at all times, and upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Provide BLS care and interfacility transport in accordance with LA County EMS Agency protocols and company policies.
  • Operate ambulance vehicles in a safe and lawful manner.
  • Complete all required electronic patient care reports (ePCRs) and documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness, inventory, and readiness of ambulance and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, facility staff, dispatch, and fellow team members.
  • Participate in ongoing training, skills maintenance, and company in-services.
Requirements
  • Current California EMT-B License
  • Current CPR certification (AHA BLS required)
  • Valid California Driver’s License
  • DMV K-4 Driving Record (No at-fault accidents or moving violations)
  • DMV Ambulance Driver License
  • Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DL 51)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Must have a valid U.S. driver's license for at least 3 years
  • Must be at least 21 years old
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience working as an ambulance EMT (911 or IFT)
