Job description

CentraCare is seeking a versatile and dedicated Urology Technician/Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. This dual-role position involves providing support to urologists and delivering essential nursing care to patients. The ideal candidate will be proficient in nursing care practices and demonstrate a compassionate approach to patient interaction. The Urology Tech functions under the direction of the RN and performs procedures related to orthopedic and urological care. This position requires flexibility in working in patient care areas throughout the hospital. 

Schedule

  • Full-time | 60 hours every two weeks
  • Days |12-hr shifts | 7 a.m.- 7:30 p.m.
  • Every 3rd weekend | every 3rd holiday

Pay and Benefits

  • Pay range:  $20.71-31.68 per hour; exact rate determined by relevant experience

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of a Nursing Assistant training course or completion of 3 months of a healthcare program required.

  • Minimum of 3 months experience as nursing assistant, student nurse, medic, EMT or similar experience.
  • Additional training/orientation will be provided to achieve desired level of competency.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.
  • NCI certification.
