Starting rate: $18.10 and up, based on experience

Immediate hiring opportunity for a full-time/part-time EMT in Oneonta, New York and Delaware County

We're hiring an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) that will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assesses patients, determines necessary care, and delivers emergency services by utilizing appropriate medical techniques, equipment and EMT scope of practice.
  • Documents patient details, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
  • Takes pride providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
  • Use appropriate EMT skills, such as bleeding control, oxygen administration and shock management.
  • An EMT operates an ambulance according to applicable company safety policies, and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles.
  • Works collaboratively and professionally with all allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow prehospital providers.
