Respiratory Therapist - Registered (Night Shift)
  • Location: Atlanta, GA, 30329
  • Duration: 13 week
  • Shift: Night; 7:00 PM -7:00 AM
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our pediatric critical care team on a night shift basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pediatric critical care, including PICU, NICU, and ED settings, with a preference for Level I trauma experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients in critical care and emergency settings.
  • Administer treatments such as oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and mechanical ventilation management.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in Epic EMR.
  • Respond to trauma and emergency situations following hospital protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Required: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years of pediatric experience; extensive critical care experience in PICU, NICU, and ED is required
  • Licensure: Active Georgia Respiratory Therapy license
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
  • Preferred: Experience in a Level I trauma center (Level II considered)
  • EMR Knowledge: Epic
