Summary:
We are Hiring! AT IPS WE BELIEVE IN RAISING THE BAR With over 500 EMS professionals and a fleet of up to 140 vehicles at peak season, IPS has the resources necessary to keep Canadians safe. We have proudly served a variety of industry sectors for over 20 years
DXP | IPS is seeking skilled medics to be apart of our team for this upcoming Spring/Summer Wildfire Season. Join our on-call list today!
We have long-term and short-term projects and currently hiring for wildfire deployment.
  • Ability to choose long-term and short-term projects.
  • Small, local work opportunities for individuals.
  • 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotation.
  • Shifts include days, nights, and weekends.
  • Work hours typically range from 10 to 12 hours per day.

Position Review & Responsibilities:
  • Providing accessible responsive and integrated patient care.
  • Performs assessments and attends to patient's injuries; determine a course of treatment within scope of practice.
  • Effectively communicate status and next steps of the injured worker to emergency services.
  • Ensure all reporting and communication requirements are adhered to regarding incidents, injuries, and treatment.
  • Maintain confidential patient medical documentation and reports as per governing body requirements.
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Must Have Requirements:
  • Current (unrestricted) registration as an EMR with the Alberta College of Paramedics (ACoP).
  • Valid Class 5 Alberta Drivers License - A current drivers abstract will be requested.
