Job description

THE ROLE
Avocado is currently looking for a PART-TIME Retail Brand Experience Associate to be part of our team in Bellevue, Washington!
This is a non-exempt position, meaning it is hourly and you are entitled to overtime pay. We offer competitive pay plus monthly bonus!
  • Note on Location: You will be working on-site at our location in Bellevue, Washington. This is not a remote position.
  • Note on Pay Transparency: The pay range for this role is $ 20.00 - $22.00 Hourly, plus potential monthly bonus.

WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON
Overall
  • Work with team and individually to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Maintain the highest level of product knowledge and expertise; Stay up-to-date with all products and procedures.
  • Bring a customer centered approach to executing on sales goals.
  • Accept and implement coaching and feedback to achieve individual and team performance goals.
  • Assist guests with resolving customer experience issues and provide an exceptional customer experience unlike any other in our industry!
  • Record and relay recurring customer feedback and insights to internal teams such as tech, marketing, design, and product in order to constantly improve the customer experience.
  • Collaborate with teams such as customer experience, production, and logistics in order to maintain a low return rate
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Retail
  • Engage in daily in person sales activities, including conducting sales through chats, phones, and virtual appointments.
  • Ensure the sales floor, windows, displays, and back stock areas are kept clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
  • Assist with planning and executing events & community programs.
  • Assist with suggesting methods to improve area operations, efficiency, and service.
  • Ability to lift 200 lbs. and be on your feet all day.

Digital
  • Engage in daily digital sales activities, including conducting sales through chats, phones, and virtual appointments.
  • Follow up with customers through the CRM platform and ensure a wholesome experience by being a resource to them.
  • Assist team with managing the daily workload of responding to customer emails.

WHAT YOU BRING
  • Customer service or retail experience is a plus.
  • Amazing attitude, a passion for learning and a desire to be a part of a growing business set out to change the world!
  • Experience responding to live chats and using a CRM platform (TalkDesk, Intercom, Kustomer, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience tracking KPIs or Sales Goals a plus
  • Be passionate about our brand's values of healthy living, environmental awareness, and social responsibility.
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator with a passion for people.
  • Positive attitude and possesses a no-task-too-small mentality.
  • Self-starter; Resilient, entrepreneurial spirit.

  • Mac and Google suite proficiency is also a plus!
  • Must be comfortable taking phone and video appointments.
  • Must have a flexible schedule- including weekends and holidays.
  • Café experience; training experience; experience running branded events is a plus!
  • Regular and predictable attendance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Mobility: The ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Movement: The ability to execute repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers; including reaching or bending repeatedly.
  • Move: Ability to adjust or move objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.
  • Lift: Capability to lift up to 200 pounds using lifting aids and/or equipment.
  • Operate: Constantly operates a computer and other office machines such as printers and tablets.
  • Communicate: This role frequently communicates with other team members to update on the status of a task.
