Description
Horowitz Health is expanding and we want you to be a part of this growth! We are 24/7 intensive residential treatment services (IRTS) centers, with locations in St. Paul and Fridley. We support a client's behavioral health, mental health, and other skills that will help them transition to a more independent setting.
We are seeking motivated, hardworking, and dedicated Behavioral Health Practitioners to support the clients with skills, offering client education, rehabilitative mental health services, functional assessments, level of care (LOC) assessments, and treatment plans to adult patients under the treatment supervision of a Mental Health Professional.
Location: Saint Paul, MN
Shifts Available:
  • Full Time
  • First, Second, and Overnight

Requirements
Education/Licensure/Certification/Experience Requirements - Behavioral Health Practitioner (BHP)
*Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science or related field preferred, including psychology, social work, counseling, sociology, human services, or a related discipline.
*May qualify through a combination of education and supervised experience consistent with Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) standards for mental health practitioners.
*Experience working with individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, emotional disturbances, or co-occurring disorders preferred.
*Must meet Minnesota DHS qualifications for a Behavioral Health Practitioner/Mental Health Practitioner under applicable Minnesota statutes.
*Current CPR/First Aid certification and successful completion of DHS background study required prior to employment; valid driver's license may be required depending on program needs.
