Job description

The Flight Training Advisor is a pivotal force in guiding the students at Rocket Air Flight Academy (formerly Melbourne Flight Training) toward their aviation career or personal aspirations. This position plays a crucial role in establishing and nurturing long-term relationships with our student customers, providing strategic guidance and regular support throughout their flight training journey.


5 Main Roles and Responsibilities

  • Prospective Student Pilot Engagement & Relationship Management
  • Flight Training Pipeline Development & CRM Support
  • Enrollment & Student Pilot Success Coordination
  • Aviation Marketing & Recruitment Coordination
  • Operational & Administrative Support for Flight Training Programs


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as initial point of contact and be the welcoming face of Rocket Air Flight Academy to prospective students.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients to ensure repeat business, customer satisfaction, and continued growth.
  • Efficiently manage and follow up on sales leads, maintaining effective communication with prospective students and ensuring timely follow-up on company-provided leads.
  • Conduct tours and create educational materials for prospective students, ensuring they understand the programs and services offered.
  • Monitor and update sales pipeline stages in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to reflect real-time progress.
  • Assist in organizing follow-ups, ensuring no leads go unattended.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all flight training programs and services to effectively promote them to leads.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and reporting to support retention and student success efforts.
  • Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Department to align CRM data with campaign efforts and target customer segments.
  • Assist in identifying trends in student inquiries and provide insights for marketing strategies.
  • Participate in and assist with organizing air shows, seminars, and school exhibitions to promote Rocket Air Flight Academy’s programs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in company-approved software.
  • Ensure all communication and interactions align with the company’s core values and customer service standards.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of previous experience in client-facing roles (admissions, sales, or related field) required.
  • Prior Aviation knowledge or experience required, with the ability to advise prospective students.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and visitors in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly frame value proposition, probe for objections, and eliminate barriers to gain commitment.


Salary includes base + commission (potential $100,000)
