About the Role:

The EMG/EEG Technician plays a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders by performing electromyography (EMG) and electroencephalography (EEG) tests. This position involves preparing patients, operating specialized diagnostic equipment, and accurately recording neurological data to assist physicians in clinical decision-making. The technician ensures the quality and integrity of test results by adhering to established protocols and maintaining equipment. Additionally, the role requires effective communication with patients to explain procedures and alleviate concerns, ensuring a positive patient experience. Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited EMG/EEG technician training program.
  • Certification as an EMG/EEG Technician (e.g., through the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine or equivalent).
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification.
