Position Summary:
This job is responsible for building and leading a team to deliver technology products and services that meet business outcomes. Key responsibilities include developing a technology strategy, ensuring technology solutions comply with applicable standards, promoting design, engineering, and organizational practices, and advocating and advancing modern, Agile solution delivery practices. Job expectations may include coaching, mentoring, providing feedback and hands on career development, identifying emerging talent, fostering leadership skills, and managing stakeholders.
  • Accountable for the operational management and day-to-day execution of the Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM) Process. Plans, coordinates, and oversees process activities. Monitors process performance, controls, and compliance, and identifies improvement opportunities. Drives management of process documentation, risks, controls, metrics, governance routines, and audit activities. Responsible for supporting the ITAM Process Owner in ensuring compliance with enterprise policy requirements, maintaining accurate process inventories and documentation, managing process-related issues and challenges, coordinating planned process changes, and improving overall process maturity. Acts as the primary liaison across technology, risk, audit, compliance, data management, and other stakeholder organizations to ensure the ITAM process remains effective and sustainable.
  • The ITAM team is responsible for ensuring technology hardware, software, cloud, virtual, and emerging technology assets are properly governed throughout their lifecycle and that accurate, complete, and reliable asset data is available for operational, security, financial, regulatory, and audit purposes. The ITAM Process Manager serves as the operational lead for the ITAM process, supporting enterprise process obligations, process inventory management, risk and control alignment, audit readiness, process documentation, metrics management, process change activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Builds and manages teams by performing financial activities to inform workforce strategy and hiring practices, setting and tracking maturity and quality objectives, and training employees/teams to address feedback and achieve quality and performance objectives
  • Facilitates performance and career development of employees/teams through performance reviews, coaching, and creating development plans that are needed to build competencies and skills
  • Manages solution delivery and application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, audit exams and reviews), ensuring all relevant risk, financial, and compliance policies are met
  • Manages relationships with business and technology partners and leads and creates followership in Communities of Practice in the organization
  • Contributes to the technology strategy for their technical domain
  • Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment and helps to resolve organizational impediments/blockers
  • Ensures that execution is aligned with product strategy by working with product management and other stakeholders
  • Process Policy Management - Serve as delegate to the ITAM Process Owner; maintain process documentation, process maps, procedures, and process inventories
  • Risk, Control Compliance Management - Identify, document, and maintain risks, controls, metrics, remediation plans, audit responses, and regulatory obligations
  • Process Performance Metrics - Monitor KPIs, dashboards, process health, control effectiveness, and reporting
  • Process Change Management Evolution - Assess impacts of planned changes, review change requests, and ensure changes are governed and documented
  • Stakeholder Audit Engagement - Coordinate with technology, risk, compliance, audit, and governance partners
  • Continuous Improvement - Lead automation, simplification, operational excellence, and process maturity initiatives

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of IT Asset Management (ITAM), SACM, CMDB, or related governance experience
  • Strong understanding of process management, risk management, and control frameworks
  • Experience supporting regulatory, compliance, and audit activities
  • ServiceNow, CMDB, or enterprise asset management platform experience
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills

Desired Qualifications:
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
  • Experience in a regulated financial institution
  • Operational Risk Management experience
  • Process Governance and Process Inventory experience
  • Continuous Improvement and Automation experience
  • This role is ideal for a senior process leader who can operate independently, manage complex governance requirements, influence across organizational boundaries, and serve as the operational owner of the ITAM process on behalf of the Process Owner.
