Job description

Modern Healthcare Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Ohio.

Job Description & Requirements

Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift Details

Position involves working 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience.
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI are required.
  • Preferred experience in a Level I Trauma Center, stroke-certified, and STEMI-certified facility.
  • Ability to manage triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, emergency medications, procedural sedation, ventilated patients, trauma, psych holds, and pediatric emergency care.
Additional Information
  • Patient-to-nurse ratios are 1:3.5.
  • Experience with EPIC documentation and Pyxis systems is beneficial.
  • Floating between units may be required.
  • Schedule includes every other or every third weekend.
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
  • An Ohio RN license is mandatory.
  • Comprehensive orientation lasting 36 hours will be provided.
  • Uniform: Navy scrubs.

  • WB Permit: Offers weekend/holiday access to specific garages, with shuttle service to the medical center.
