Job Summary and Qualifications 


Assist in the performance of daily pharmacy tasks including but not limited to: receiving, packaging, preparing and distributing medications, IV admixtures; maintaining records; and other duties as assigned 


What you will do in this role:  


  • You will assist in performance of daily pharmacy tasks (procurement, preparation, delivery, return, and restocking of medications)  


  • You will participate in the formulary and inventory management process  


  • You will prepare intravenous admixtures  


  • You will facilitate customer service through communication with both internal staff and external customers  


  • You will be responsible for and understand the use of automated pharmacy equipment and software  


  • You will participate and assist with learning activities and other duties as assigned 


What qualifications you will need:   


  • High school diploma or GED required  


  • Knowledge of general pharmacy practices and procedures  


  • Interpersonal skills when interacting within and outside of the department  


  • Enrolled in an accredited College of Pharmacy with a plan to graduate with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree within the next 3-4 years
