Job Overview

We are seeking a skilledย Electrician IIIย to support daily electrical maintenance operations forย government-owned facilities and systems. This role requires a strong background in industrial and commercial electrical systems, the ability to respond to emergency call-ins, and strict adherence to safety, security, and compliance requirements.

Due to the nature of the work,ย U.S. citizenship and an active security clearance are mandatory.


Must-Have Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
  • U.S. Citizen

  • Active Tier 3 / NACLC / Secret security clearance

  • Ability to pass annualย Fit for Duty physical, respirator medical clearance, and respirator fit testing

  • Availability forย emergency call-insย as required


Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily maintenance operations for electrical systems across government facilities

  • Troubleshoot and maintain:

    • VFDs, AHUs, motors, ATS systems, UPS systems

    • Industrial and low-voltage lighting systems

  • Read and interpretย blueprints, schematics, control diagrams, and specifications

  • Performย electrical load calculations

  • Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical test equipment safely and effectively

  • Ensure compliance withย NEC and NFPA 70Eย standards

  • Maintain safe working conditions in accordance with all site and federal regulations


Required Skills & Experience
  • Minimumย 3 yearsย of experience in electrical trades (5 years preferred)

  • Strong understanding ofย high- and low-voltage electrical systems

  • Experience inย industrial or commercial electrical environments

  • Familiarity withย government facilities maintenanceย preferred

  • High school diploma or equivalent


Preferred / Nice-to-Have
  • OSHA 10 certification

  • Experience withย Building Automation Systems (BAS)

  • Industrial controls experience

  • Laboratory environment experience (e.g.,ย fume hoods, lab benches)
