Job description

An independent pharmacy with a strong focus on patient care and adherence.
We are seeking an experienced, organized, and detail-oriented people to join our staff. We are hiring for a Part Time - delivery driver for our store Rx One Pharmacy in Orlando, FL location.
We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.
The delivery driver is responsible for the safe delivery of prescriptions to customers by preparing, loading, unloading, operating, repairing and maintaining the delivery vehicle and prescriptions.
Responsibilities:
• Safe driving and operation of delivery vehicle to deliver/pick up prescriptions to patient's home or place of business.
• Coordinates paperwork and payment with the customer, as required.
• Returns to the pharmacy with proper co-pays and delivery signatures.
• Performs routine maintenance on delivery vehicle.
• Checks accuracy and stability of the load.
• Calls 911 in the event of an emergency at patient's home.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
Skills & Qualities:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Bilingual (Spanish) skills preferred
• Must be able to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form at all levels of the
organization as well as with patients and health care providers
• Valid driver's license in good standing
• Personal vehicle with valid registration and insurance
• Must practice good listening skills
• Must have the ability to problem solve from simple to complex issues
• Must possess excellent customer satisfaction skills
• Ability to plan, organize and set priorities
• Able to adapt to change and changing priorities
• Must possess basic computer knowledge, particularly Microsoft products
• Able to complete basic math calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• Self-starter with high energy, drive and passion to win; persistent in achieving desired results over
extended periods of time
