Sunny Valley Psychotherapy Center is actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team on a full-time basis. • Conduct individual and family therapy sessions via telehealth, ensuring a supportive and empathetic approach.
• Assess clients’ needs and develop customized treatment plans that align with their personal goals and cultural contexts.
• Utilize evidence-based practices, including but not limited to CBT, TF-CBT, and EMDR, to effectively address various mental health concerns.
• Document clients’ progress in our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in regular supervision and peer consultation to enhance therapeutic skills and discuss challenging cases.
• Engage with client families to provide holistic support and improve overall treatment outcomes.

Our client population includes a diverse range of individuals, including children, adults, and families, each facing unique mental health challenges. Our therapists are expected to approach each client with cultural sensitivity, understanding their specific needs and customs. The diversity of our clientele reflects the rich tapestry of the community, allowing our therapists to employ varied therapeutic techniques and perspectives.

• A Master’s Degree from an accredited program in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Ability to provide psychotherapy services in both Spanish and English, with strong communication skills.
• A minimum of two years of experience working in a mental health setting, specifically with children, adults, and families.
• Deep respect for diverse cultures and individual differences, fostering inclusivity in your therapeutic practice.
• Experience working with clients from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
• Training in evidence-based modalities such as CBT, TF-CBT, EMDR, or equivalent.

• A developed area of specialization, such as trauma, LGBTQ+, grief and loss, perinatal mental health, etc.
• Willingness and ability to work as an in-network provider for at least one insurance panel.
• Competency in using electronic health record (EHR) software and standard office applications.
• Willingness to provide telehealth services in a HIPAA-compliant manner, along with occasional in-person sessions.
• Ability to comply with the punctual attendance and scheduling requirements of the clinic, including evening and weekend availability.

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 105,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
