Make a Difference
The Behavioral Health (BH) Therapist Licensed (L) will engage with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds to improve their health and wellness, live self-directive lives, and strive to reach their full potential. The BH Therapist L facilitates, monitors, and provides evidence-based, culturally competent mental health and substance use services. Utilizing Evidenced Based Practices (EBP) such as Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Trauma-Focused CBT among other EBPs, you will help clients navigate their healing journey and build resilience.
Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
- LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the State of Indiana required.
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health related field required.
- 2 + years of experience providing mental health treatment required.
- Possess current Indiana Driver's license with proof of current auto insurance.
Patients First
- Provides effective and efficient mental health interventions including, but not limited to comprehensive psycho-social assessments, individual, family and process group therapies, and crisis intervention appropriate to client needs.
- Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based practices, tailored to their unique needs.
- Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy sessions using modalities to help clients reduce distressing symptoms and improve overall functioning.
- Applicant possesses skills for Discharge Planning: Develops and implements effective and efficient treatment discharge plans as is appropriate to client needs.
Relationships
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide coordinated care and advocate for clients, including referrals to additional resources and support services as needed.
- Recognizes and commits to the critical importance of customer satisfaction (both internal and external customers).
Integrity
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Ensure ethical therapeutic practice including trauma informed lens, harm reduction model, and non-judgmental support.
