Founded in 1999, eTEC Mechanical is a full-service mechanical contractor providing engineering, installation and maintenance for HVAC, plumbing, piping and fire protection systems. We provide diverse mechanical services to meet our customer's needs, ranging from engineering and installing heating and cooling systems to maintaining and troubleshooting commercial/industrial HVAC and fire protection systems. eTEC's mission is to provide commercial and industrial HVAC, plumbing, piping and fire protection systems for customers who need a single source mechanical contractor. We are the only mechanical service provider in central Virginia able to efficiently provide professional in-house engineering, installation and maintenance for HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems to the commercial and industrial market.

Job Summary:
Provide maintenance and repair of HVAC systems including RTU's, chillers, boilers, VRF's and IAQ systems on a commercial scale.
Pay Range- 30.00 to 40.00 per year

  • Identify problems with heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning systems for commercial and industrial customers.
  • Carefully examine the equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot problems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks and inspections on HVAC equipment.
  • Inspect HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • 5 years of experience in the HVAC industry or a minimum of 3 years providing maintenance and service on HVAC equipment.
  • EPA certification
  • On call availability
  • Physical activities include standing, balancing, climbing stairs and ladders, walking and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. are required.
