We're hiring experienced Manual Machinists who see machining as more than a job, it's a trade you've mastered. At EMC, your work directly supports critical equipment used across industry. What you build and repair matters.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Operate manual lathes - turning, boring, threading
  • Run manual mills - drilling, tapping, boring
  • Machine, repair, and rebuild components for electric motors and rotating equipment
  • Perform metal spraying (metallizing), grinding, and broaching
  • Complete brazing, soldering, and light welding work
  • Use band saws, belt sanders, and other shop equipment
  • Hold tight tolerances using micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators
  • Take ownership of your work-from setup to finished product

  • Experience operating manual (non-CNC) machining equipment
  • A strong sense of craftsmanship and attention to detail
  • Mechanical ability-you understand how parts function and fit together
