What You'll Do

As a Senior Industrial Field Service Technician, you'll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide variety of industrial equipment at customer facilities throughout the region.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Troubleshooting and repairing electric motors, VFDs, industrial drives, and control systems
  • Performing preventive maintenance, equipment startups, warranty service, and emergency repairs
  • Diagnosing electrical and mechanical failures using advanced diagnostic tools
  • Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
  • Communicating technical findings and repair recommendations with customers
  • Maintaining accurate service reports, inventory, and documentation
  • Participating in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule
  • Representing EMC with professionalism while maintaining a safe work environment

Occasional overnight travel and weekend work are required.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of industrial field service or industrial electrical/mechanical experience
  • Strong troubleshooting skills involving electric motors, VFDs, motor controls, and industrial electrical systems
  • Experience servicing industrial automation equipment
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Medium Voltage experience
  • Journeyman or Master Electrician License
  • Welding and fabrication experience
