AlphaGraphics Brand X is a locally owned, full-service print and apparel business operating out of AlphaGraphics on University in Tempe, just west of downtown and the Light Rail. We offer screen printing, embroidery, DTF, and heat transfer services, and we're growing our apparel team.

SCHEDULE

  • Mon-Fri, 2nd Shift: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM
ABOUT THE POSITION
The Embroidery Operator sets up and runs embroidery machines to complete client orders — sewing logos, patterns, and custom designs into fabric. You'll also maintain your machine, troubleshoot issues as they come up, and work with supervisors and clients to make sure every job meets spec.
Operators must also support other areas of Production, including but not limited to Quality Control, Heat Press, Screen Printing, Bindery, and Shipping/Receiving.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Set up embroidery machines and select thread/fabric for each job
  • Sew logos and patterns into fabric to spec
  • Perform regular machine maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine problems
  • Balance multiple projects without sacrificing efficiency or quality
  • Assist other production areas as directed
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Take on special projects as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on embroidery machine operation experience required
  • Expert-level embroidery machine operation ability, including setup and multi-head machine operation
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Able to read and follow technical manuals
  • Comfortable working across multiple fabric types and patterns
  • Self-motivated, strong ownership of quality and deadlines
  • Works well independently and on a team
  • High integrity and work ethic
  • Track record of clear communication with a team
  • Quick to learn new systems and processes
  • "Clean the slate" mindset — meets or beats every deadline, leaves nothing undone at shift's end
  • Proactive — knows when to ask for direction and where to jump in elsewhere
